Hero Notes:

Winemaker Reid Bosward is as purposeful and powerfully-set as his most famous wine. No stranger to the great vineyards of France and the rest of the world, Reid passionately maintains that his patchwork of ancient Barossa vineyards is every bit as intimate and unique as those of Burgundy. Old Bastard manages that saught-after but complicated balance between structure, finesse and generosity. If you are lucky enough to find the renowned 2006 vintage, do not hesitate to buy a bottle.  If you decide on a newer release, we recommend keeping it in your cellar for a few years.
